The oldest chocolate

1 November 2007

Since the 1st of November 2007, Choco-Story, the Chocolate museum, has launched a contest to find the oldest chocolate around.

Anyone who has an old tablet, bar or box of chocolates which is still in good condition, in its original packaging, can take part in the contest. Just drop them into the museum before the 31st of January 2008: Choco-Story Wijnzakstraat, 2 (Sint Jansplein) 8000 Brugge (tel. 050/61.22.37)

The chocolate can be: - a chocolate bar - a box of chocolates - a box or sachet containing a mix for a chocolate drink. Empty or incomplete packing will not be regarded as a valid entry. A jury will evaluate the entries, looking especially at their condition and age.

The oldest entry will receive €500, second €250 and third €125.  The rules of the contest can be obtained from the museum.  Choco-Story will organize an exhibition of the oldest pieces.

Choco-Story will send each participant confirmation of receipt of their piece, two free admissions for Choco-Story and the rules of the contest.

Choco-Story wishes everyone the best of luck!
