In Bruges, the members of the guild of chocolateers, under the supervision of Dominique Persoone of 'The Chocolate Line', created the largest chocolate swan in the world. The immediate cause for the world record was the chocolate festival 'Choco-Laté' that started on Friday, April 6,2007

Belcolade sponsored the record by offering 2 chocolate shells of 750kg.  The chocolateers got help from the practice teachers of the school 'Ter Groene Poorte' in Bruges.  The swan weighed 2 ton and is 4 meter long and could be visited on the exhibition of Choco-Laté in Oud St. Jan.  Now, you can admire this "pièce de resistance" in the chocolate museum Choco-Story in Bruges.
