3rd Edition of Choco-laté (1-4 May 2009), Bruges.

8 April 2009

The Bruges chocolate festival Choco-Laté was originally launched in 2006, and immediately became a success. The second edition in 2007, was even more successful, with 15,000 visitors and almost 100 exhibitors, including some of the biggest chocolate brands.

The 3rd festival will take place 1-4th May 2009 in the medieval halls of the Belfort Tower, located in the Grand Place of Bruges. Many of the exhibitors from previous festivals will once again be present, as well as some new faces.

Again in the "Kids Village", chocolate activities for children will be organised including painting and writing with chocolate. For mum's there will be several companies with body care products made using chocolate ingredients, and for the dad's there will be the body painting shows which proved to be so popular last time around. In addition, several artists will be creating chocolate sculptures, including Andrew Farrugia from Malta.

Belcolade is again proud to be main sponsor of his event where our professional chocolatiers will be creating a unique spectacle within the Belcolade booth. Visitors will also have the exclusive opportunity to  experience a brand new Belcolade innovation, as well as sample the complete Belcolade "Collection" Origin range.

Within the framework of the Choco-Laté festival, Belcolade is staging the 3rd International Chocolate Symposium in Bruges on 29 April 2009 at the Concertgebouw, "Trends in Health, Taste and Marketing in chocolate". For more information on this event click here
